Erdi Daşdemir earned his Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering, specializing in Operations Research, from Middle East Technical University in 2021. He is currently an Assistant Professor in the Department of Industrial Engineering at Hacettepe University. He held visiting faculty positions at the University at Buffalo and the University of Southampton. His research focuses on mathematical optimization, multi-objective optimization, and evolutionary algorithms, particularly in solving complex supply chain and routing problems for both manned and unmanned vehicles. Erdi collaborates closely with Algopoly, assisting in addressing complex optimization problems and developing optimization tools for the company’s clients.
